In this form, it is utilized in the heterogeneous catalytic esterification of p-hydroxybenzoic acid and heptanol to produce n-heptyl p-hydroxybenzoate. Additionally, gallium(III) sulfate hydrate demonstrates excellent catalytic performance when interacting with strong acid cation ion exchange resins, making it valuable in the synthesis of amyl hexanoate.
