Polyamide resin is a polymer with -NCO structure in the molecular chain. Benzene-soluble polyamide resins are made by dissolving the resin with benzene alcohol solvents. Commonly used benzene solvents are toluene and xylene. However, please do not misunderstand that the benzene-soluble type is not dissolved with benzene solvent alone, but with a mixture of solvents. So we usually call benzene-soluble polyamide resin, or benzene-soluble polyamide resin, toluene-soluble polyamide resin.
Benzene-soluble polyamide resin is mainly used for manufacturing gravure plastic printing ink and paper ink. It has good adhesion on polyethylene and other substrates, and is especially suitable for printing on plastic films such as polyethylene packaging films and metal foil laminated films.
The ink made of this product has good adhesion, high gloss, low freezing point, solvent release and good compatibility with nitrocellulose, etc.
