    Catalog Number
    ACMA00003260
    Product Name
    Poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene), bis-poly(ethyleneglycol), lauryl terminated
    Category
Bioelectronic Materials; Organic Light-Emitting Diode (OLED) Materials; Organic Solar Cell (OPV) Materials
    Application
The purpose of Poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene), bis-poly(ethyleneglycol), lauryl terminated is to facilitate the creation of thin films on various substrates such as glass, ITO, silicon wafers, and many polymeric materials by using nitromethane dispersions. Before application, it is essential to confirm the compatibility of the substrate with nitromethane. The process involves coating the substrate with a "pool" of the nitromethane dispersion. To achieve thin, transparent films, the substrates are typically spun at speeds of 1000 RPM or higher. However, spinning at lower speeds allows for more conductive films. A single layer spun at 1000 RPM is generally around 75 nm thick.
