    Application
Graphite Fluoride (Carbon Monofluoride) nanopowder is a versatile material characterized by its unique structural configuration, where flat carbon layers, reminiscent of graphite, are interspersed with fluorine atoms above and below each layer. This nanomaterial falls within the composition range of C3.6F to C4F and presents a velvety black appearance, occasionally showcasing a bluish hue. With a density ranging from 2.05 to 2.09 under xylene and a resistivity of 2-4 ohm·cm at 750 kg/cm², it demonstrates noteworthy stability to acids, bases, and typical organic reagents. While it decomposes slowly when heated above 100°C, it releases soot-like flakes upon rapid heating over a flame. Graphite Fluoride's unique properties make it an essential component in various applications, including cathodic materials, lubricants, image recording, pressure-sensitive copying, and carbon filament incandescent lamps.
