Produced through the Arc Discharge process and refined using density gradient centrifugation, these nanotubes are particularly suitable for applications in electronics, sensors, composites, and energy storage. They also support studies in life sciences due to their unique structural properties. Further enhancing versatility, arrays of these vertically aligned multi-walled nanotubes, free of significant catalyst impurities (< 1%), are cultivated on a 10x10x1mm quartz substrate using a single-source CVD process. These arrays typically measure 30µm in height (± 3µm) and consist of nanotubes approximately 100nm in diameter (± 10nm). If required, arrays with a height of up to 150µm can be developed, offering additional flexibility for specialized research needs.
