Application
The carbon nanotube array, featuring multi-walled nanotubes, serves a versatile role in advancing research across several fields. Produced through the Arc Discharge process and subsequently purified using density gradient centrifugation, these nanotubes are integral to the development of cutting-edge technologies in electronics, sensors, and composite materials. They also play a pivotal role in energy storage solutions and the exploration of life science systems. The arrays, grown on a 10x10x1mm quartz substrate using a single source chemical vapor deposition (CVD) process, are carefully engineered to produce vertically aligned multi-walled carbon nanotubes with less than 1% catalyst impurity. Typically 30µm in height with a diameter of approximately 100nm, these arrays can be customized to reach up to 150µm in height, catering to specific research needs.
