These products are particularly valuable in the production of epoxy resins, where they serve as curing agents or react with epichlorohydrin. Furthermore, 4-Vinylphenyl Acetate plays a critical role in the development of photoresists, which are essential for microlithography in the fabrication of photo-etched integrated circuits and chip manufacturing. Its ability to polymerize into poly(p-hydroxystyrene) makes it integral to the development of chemically amplified photoresists, a dominant technology in the field.
