    The purpose of 4,5-bis(carbazol-9-yl)-1,2-dicyanobenzene, >98%(HPLC), Sublimed, a thermally activated delayed fluorescence (TADF) emitter, is to enhance the performance of small molecule organic solar cells. Its absorption spectrum complements that of the donor SubPc, and its photoluminescence spectrum overlaps with the absorption spectrum of the active layer, improving the device's efficiency. While the incorporation of this product increases the estimated hole injection barrier slightly from 0.809 eV to 0.874 eV when a 5 nm layer is applied, it simultaneously decreases hole mobility, contributing to the overall enhanced functioning of the solar cells.
