    The 3D Printing Hydroxyapatite ink is a versatile research-grade material designed for producing intricate, multi-layered three-dimensional structures through direct extrusion 3D printing. It is primarily composed of hydroxyapatite, offering both bioactivity and biocompatibility, and is combined with polylactic-co-glycolic acid (PLGA) to achieve an elastic nature upon solidification. Able to form complex shapes at room temperature, this ink allows for the fabrication of structures that are both flexible and osteoconductive, supporting stem cell differentiation into osteoblast-like cells. It can also be co-printed with other inks or compounded for multi-material applications. In addition to 3D printing, the ink is suitable for non-printing applications such as coatings, thread fabrication, or mold casting. After printing, the material should be washed with ethanol and water to remove residual solvents. For more permanent applications, the 3D-printed objects can be sintered in a non-oxidative atmosphere at 1500 °C to create durable, high-temperature stable components suitable for implant and other biological tissue applications.
