With its high electron mobility of approximately 0.5 cm² V⁻¹ s⁻¹, this compound exhibits outstanding electron-transporting capabilities, making it suitable for use as an n-type material in organic field-effect transistors (OFETs). Additionally, it serves as an excellent electron-accepting building block for organic photovoltaics (OPVs), enhancing their performance and efficiency. Beyond electronics, this compound also acts as an infrared (IR) transparent pigment, suitable for coating applications. The material presents as a black powder with a bluish shade, demonstrating substantial heat resistance up to 300°C, and possesses excellent fastness to light, acid, alkali, and bleeding. Its oil absorption ranges from 40-50%, with a specific surface area of 35 m²/g, and a density of 1.50 g/cm³. It maintains high purity, with minimal residue and solubility in water, and offers a reliable volatile content and tinting strength.
