    PE batteries separators for lithium-ion batteries are important battery part which plays major role in lithium-ion batteries which has special functions and benefits. Superior electrolyte reactivity: The porous structure of PE battery separator lets the electrolyte freely pass through the separator and ensures the evenly distributed electrolyte inside the battery for good charge/discharge behavior of the battery. One-layer PE battery separator is especially applicable to produce ultra-thin separators less than 16um, so that the battery has a smaller volume and weight, and increases the energy density of the battery.

    Method of manufacture: PE battery separator can be the internal part of lithium battery. It's primarily used to isolate the positive end of the battery, to prevent the two poles from touching one another and short-circuiting, and to allow lithium ions to flow through it during the discharge process. This is resistant to chemicals and mechanical wear and can stay seated while the battery is running. In lithium batteries, they are directly responsible for the safety, energy density and cycle life of the battery. PE is tested in various lithium batteries of all kinds due to its good physical and chemical characteristics. Not only can it effectively avoid short circuits in the battery but also help bidirectional electrolyte ions move during charging and discharging which will enhance the charging quality and cycle stability of the battery. Also, PE pore size fabrication process and design is also important in applying effect in lithium batteries. With perfect manufacturing, PE pore size with correct pore size, the distribution of pore size is also good and there are fewer defects which further enhance lithium batteries performance and safety.

    Application: PE battery separator has a great performance and it is extensively applied in many types of lithium-ion batteries especially high energy density, long life and stable performance, such as new energy vehicle, energy storage system and so on.
