    Application
4,4'-Bis(α,α-dimethylbenzyl)diphenylamine is a highly effective, non-toxic antioxidant designed to serve as a thermal stabilizer across a broad range of applications. Its primary purpose is to provide superior protection against thermal, light, and ozone aging in elastomers, including NR, IIR, SBR, NBR, BR, CR, and their blends. This product excels in safeguarding neoprene and colorful cable jackets due to its exceptional heat and light resistance, making it a valuable addition to rubber sheeting for cables. Furthermore, it offers strong oxidation resistance without causing discoloration or contamination. It can be used alone or synergistically with other antioxidants, such as phenolics and phosphites, in polyolefins, styrenics, plastics, and polyamides. Its utility spans multiple industries, from polyethylene and polypropylene to lubricants and adhesives, and even food packaging. In rubber applications, it is typically used at a concentration of 2-3 phr, where it not only performs its antioxidative role but also reduces production costs as a safer alternative to carcinogenic antioxidants like D, A, and RD.
