While it boasts moderate solubility in hot ethanol, chloroform, and ether, it remains insoluble in cold ethanol and water. Although its lubricity and thermal stability are not as robust as traditional greases, these limitations can be mitigated with the addition of small amounts of advanced alcohols (C16 to C18). Additionally, Stearic Acid Amide functions as a metabolite, further expanding its utility in various chemical applications.
