Additionally, it can introduce a dimethylphenylsilyl end group onto highly branched poly(dimethylsiloxane) polymers. Furthermore, Phenyldimethylsilanol can be used as a substrate in the synthesis of germasiloxanes catalyzed by ruthenium (0), where it reacts with vinylgermanes.
