Application
The orange light-emitting PPV copolymer is designed for applications requiring high efficiency and low operational voltages. It offers excellent reproducibility and emits a broad spectrum of orange light, making it suitable for various optoelectronic uses. The copolymer's remarkable stability at high temperatures and its long lifetime, both in DC and AC modes, ensure durability and reliability. In standard device configurations, it achieves maximum efficiency levels of 5.0 Cd/A with a very low onset voltage of 2.0 V, maintaining performance even at higher luminance levels, such as 100 cd/m² and 1000 cd/m². Additionally, it delivers a high maximum power efficiency of 5.5 lm/W and an external quantum efficiency of 3.5%. The product's color coordinates at a brightness of 100 cd/m² are (0.60, 0.40) based on the CIE1931 color space, and it boasts an impressive DC lifetime exceeding 25,000 hours at room temperature.
