For projects requiring specialized configurations, arrays of vertically aligned MWNTs can be grown on a quartz substrate by a single source CVD process. These arrays typically reach a height of 30µm, though heights up to 150µm are available on request, with the nanotubes in the arrays having a diameter of about 100nm.
