Application
Methylethyl Ketoxime is a high-purity (99.7% minimum) chemical primarily utilized as an antiskinning agent in alkyd coating resins. It is a colorless, transparent, and flammable oily liquid with excellent grade quality. Thanks to its strong complexation with metal ions and volatility, it finds significant use in various chemical syntheses. Methylethyl Ketoxime can react with hydrochloric and sulfuric acid to form methyl ethyl ketone and is a crucial reagent and solvent in the formation of ketoimines and specialized metal complexes, such as palladium(II) and cobalt complexes. With a low water content of 0.04%, a maximum acid number of 0.05 mg KOH/g, and a Chroma No. of 2 max, it meets stringent specifications for industrial and laboratory applications.
