K19 Dye, 85%, is an advanced organo-metallic dye specifically designed for use in dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs). As a photosensitizing material, it significantly enhances the performance of solar cells by delivering a short circuit photocurrent density of 15.1 mA/cm², an open circuit voltage of 747 mV, and a fill factor of 0.69. Formulated with the complex cis-bis(thiocyanato)(2,2'-bipyridyl-4,4'-dicarboxylic acid)(4,4'-bis(p-hexyloxystyryl)-2,2'-bipyridine)ruthenium(II), the K19 Dye is a high-efficiency sensitizer developed to push the boundaries of solar energy conversion. Its high extinction coefficient of 18,200 M⁻¹cm⁻¹ supports the development of a new generation of thin-film DSSCs, enabling them to achieve greater conversion efficiencies.
