    Application
Ferrous Ferric Oxide Nanopowder (Type 1) serves a broad range of industrial and manufacturing applications due to its magnetic properties and rich iron content. This black powder, also known as Triiron Tetraoxide or Magnetite, is predominantly composed of Fe3O4 at a minimum of 90% and exhibits a pH value between 5 and 8, ensuring versatility across various chemical processes. Known for its excellent density of 4.5 g/ml, the nanopowder acts as a valuable pigment in paints, linoleum, ceramic glazes, and textile coloration. It is also used in glass coloring, as a polishing compound, and even in catalytic processes. The compound can undergo reduction to produce metallic iron, or be dissolved in acids forming combinations of iron(II) and iron(III) salts. Its oil absorption rate ranges from 10-20%, with a minimal residue and water solubility, ensuring purity and quality in use. Additionally, it maintains a tinting strength between 98-102%, making it ideal for precision in demanding applications.
