Application

Chlorinated polyvinyl chloride (CPVC), injection molding grade, is designed to enhance the properties of traditional polyvinyl chloride (PVC) by increasing its resistance to corrosion and raising its operational temperature capacity by 20-30°C. This modified material retains a similar range of chemical resistance as rigid PVC, making it ideal for use in various demanding applications. CPVC is widely utilized in the manufacture of piping, fittings, ducts, tanks, and pumps, especially for handling highly corrosive liquids and hot water. Its robust chemical resistance has been extensively tested, demonstrating satisfactory performance when exposed to harsh environments such as acetic acid, chromic acid, nitric acid, sulfuric acid, hexane, and sodium hydroxide under various concentrations and temperatures.
