It is particularly effective in stabilizing adhesives, including hot melt adhesives (HMAs) based on unsaturated polymers like SBS or SIS, as well as solvent-borne and water-based adhesives that incorporate elastomers such as natural rubber, chloroprene rubber, and SBR. Moreover, this antioxidant is well-suited for use in block-copolymers and polyurethane products, such as PUR sealants, where it delivers both process stability and long-term heat protection. The product's low volatility, absence of color pollution, and resistance to extraction enable it to efficiently safeguard polymer materials against thermal oxidative aging.
